The Norwegian Opera's current art collection
Over the years, The Norwegian Opera has acquired a substantial collection of paintings, photographs, sculptures and objects of varying historical and artistic merit. The collection has recently been catalogued and registered. The Art Committee will draw up a suggested plan of the collection, which will include the principles of selection, placement and mounting. The Norwegian Opera will then decide themselves upon the choice of work to be exhibited, and the objects and paintings can circulate in the building.
